A Magical Day of Sliding in the Laurentians
Once again, Les Glissades du Domaine des Pays d’en Haut is delighted to invite 500 members from various organizations in the Laurentians to experience a free tubing day on Sunday, January 11. A day designed for families, for the simple joy of being together outdoors, sharing, and marking their winter with a memorable moment.
This year, we are honoured to welcome families from the following organizations:
Panda Laurentides, Parents Uniques, Autisme Laurentides, the Centre pédiatrique d’Argenteuil, as well as Grands Frères et Grandes Sœurs de la Porte du Nord.
For 4 hours, these families fully enjoy the Tubing experience with access to 54 slopes, ranging from beginner to expert levels. For us, welcoming families goes beyond the slopes. We are committed to providing a space for calmness and for rest. Families are therefore settled in the Théâtre, away from the noise and bustle of the main chalet, so children can recharge between slides in a calming environment. Of course, the entire chalet remains accessible to them throughout the day.
At the heart of this initiative is our philanthropic mission: encouraging outdoor physical activity for all children in need of support and families facing challenges by offering free access to recreational activities. We strongly believe that playing outside, staying active, and pushing oneself contributes to physical and mental well-being, builds self-confidence, and fosters a healthy environment, especially in more fragile communities.
Though this day is festive, it is above all full of meaning and gratitude. It touches us deeply. The happiness radiating on the mountain is palpable. Our employees are proud to welcome these families, and this wave of solidarity is felt in every greeting, every descent, every hot chocolate break by the fireplace.
To contribute to the ambiance, the CIME Laurentians radio team will be on site to animate the day with music, games, and prizes as part of their winter tour. A contagious energy that brings the site to life and amplifies the magic of the moment.
