A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME

Discovering a Family of Builders

Le Domaine des Pays d’en Haut, located in the Laurentians region of Quebec, is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. This region, with its stunning mountainous landscapes, has a rich history tied to the rise of tourism and recreational activities.

A Rich History Linked to the Rise of Tourism

A Strong Influence of French-Canadian Culture

The history of the company dates back several decades, with a strong influence from French-Canadian culture and winter traditions. In the 1960s, the region began to develop as a resort destination, attracting visitors from Montreal and beyond. Winter sports, including tubing, became popular due to the abundant snow and the hills well-suited for these activities.

A Fun Experience for Families and Groups of Friends

The tubing runs, in particular, offer a fun experience for families and groups of friends. The tubing tracks are equipped with secure facilities, ski lifts, and rest areas, making the experience accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level.

Mordern Equipment and Diverse Activities

Over the years, le Domaine des Pays d'en Haut, a pioneer in snow tubing, has evolved to include modern equipment and diverse activities, such as a performance hall and helicopter tours, while preserving the famous Arthur Raymond sugar shack. The region is also known for its winter festivals and cultural events, celebrating the cold season and the warmth of Quebecois hospitality.

A Perfect Combination of Entertainment, Nature, and Winter Traditions

Today, le Domaine des Pays d'en Haut continues to attract visitors from beyond its borders, offering a perfect combination of entertainment, nature, and winter traditions, while contributing to the local economy and promoting tourism in the Laurentians. Come discover its course!
