The sugar shack season is approaching, and the Laurentians’ destination that blends fun and gourmet delights is ready to welcome thrill-seekers and visitors with a sweet tooth. Perched at the summit of Le Domaine des Pays d’en Haut, La Cabane Arthur Raymond will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between March 13 to April 19, as Les Glissades transitions to their spring schedule.
La Cabane Arthur Raymond offers a traditional menu created by the Raymond family, showcasing classic sugar shack favourites, including Laurette’s famous meatball stew, a true fan favourite. Reservations are required, either online or by phone. Groups of 10 or more are also welcome by reservation, making it an ideal option for celebrating with family or colleagues. Moreover, meal prices remain unchanged this season, much to the delight of our loyal guests.
After the meal, enjoy a sweet treat with the traditional maple taffy. This season, it’s available all-you-can-eat outdoors, letting you savour the experience in the purest tradition. As a bonus, every reservation at La Cabane Arthur Raymond includes free access to the the Parc du Yéti, located right next door. This sliding area features 12 mini tubing slopes, perfect for entertaining both children and adults.
What sets this sugar shack apart from all others in Québec is undoubtedly the combined sugar shack and 18 sliding slopes offered through the Emblematik package. Starting March 13, visitors can enhance their sugar shack outing by pairing the traditional meal with the popular Rafting and Tornade rides. Two hours of sliding are available either before lunch or right after, helping digest the maple taffy!
In spring, the fun continues on the Rafting-Tornade sector and at the Parc du Yéti! Les Glissades follows a spring schedule, from Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities will continue directly at La Cabane for visitors who simply want to enjoy sliding. Tickets are currently available for purchase on Les Glissades’ website.
